Puppies are getting bigger and Audrey is almost done with weaning though she's still nursing them once a day. Here is little green. He is the first born. Little green was so excited at getting meat in his meal that he threw his whole body into the food bowl that they were all eating from. Uh, oh...litter mates were not so happy about that.

New Digs

As the pups grow, they need more excitement and discovery. What better way to do it than by changing around their living environment? A separate sleep area, a wide play area, and a 'going out area' to teach them that they need to 'go' well far away from their sleep space.

Every time we turn around, these pups are sleeping. Enjoying this now as they will become more active in the coming weeks.

Nurturing Intervention

For those of you who are parents, there are many things that prompt newborns to cry. Typically, they're hungry. But in this case, this little guy was just fed. We believe that he had gas. Still how does one console and help the process? Well, the puppy needs some tender love and care. It's not hard to give since these pups are so adorable.  After about 5 minutes, this little guy zonked out and fell asleep.
